As it relates to public speaking, I was lucky to have the chance to become a paid speaker relatively young (including doing my first commencement speech in my 20’s).  As I went on to other work in the non-profits and internet, I developed a niche, tips and tricks for teaching other people to become great speakers– the system which has become The Speaking Seminar ™.   It has been my pleasure to deliver The Speaking Seminar to companies on five continents, across many sectors, along with other leadership trainings and executive coaching.  I have been asked, which is the most fun group to train; business executives, celebrities, athletes, lawyers, others?  My answer is ‘high brain speed.’  Whenever you meet smart people who want to gain a powerful skill quickly, it’s a joy to work with them.

I have been fortunate to draw on real business examples for speaking through my experience co-founding CMI Marketing with Michael Sanchez and Andrew Shue.   CMI’s website CafeMom has become phenomenally successful because of their and many other’s leadership.   I have also worked with amazing partners like Jim Mustacchia at Mountain Lakes International, Jim being one of the best thinkers and trainers I have ever met.  This work has also allowed me to volunteer with wonderful non-profit efforts like Into the Streets, Do Something, The LEAGUE and now the  biggest volunteer network in the nation, Points of Light/HandsOn Network, where I am honored to serve as a Senior Advisor to Michelle Nunn, the CEO.

My wife, Maria, and I reside in New Jersey.  My greatest career achievements include getting to coach Peter’s little league team the last few years and teaching Anna to be the youngest kid to dive off the Verona community pool big diving board.   Bringing it back to speaking, we would love to help you and your company make a splash in your field.  You will be surprised how fast you can become terrific presenters, so why not jump in and find out.

I’m excited to join the dynamic team at Blue Planet Training. Over the past 20 years, as a public interest lawyer, civic leader and major foundation executive, I have been given amazing platforms to speak on stage, on camera, in stadiums, courtrooms and boardrooms, and at conferences around the world – from the United Nations and university commencement ceremonies to live interviews with celebrities.

Through my career in philanthropy and the entertainment industry, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively while investing more than $500 million in charitable organizations worldwide. But what I’ve enjoyed most – as a mentor, coach and advisor – is working with people to give them the chance to tell their stories, whether they’re an orphaned child in Mexico, a company manager in Manila, or a TV news anchor in Manhattan. I spent the last decade as Senior Vice President at the Entertainment Industry Foundation where I advised a range of private clients including Academy Award-winning actors, Emmy-winning TV show producers (like American Idol/Idol Gives Back and Hope For Haiti Now), and Fortune 100 global media companies (such as Disney, MTV Networks, and Time/Warner). Since the age of 16, I’ve worked (and talked my way) through college and law school, earning a B.A. in International Relations from Princeton University and J.D. from UCLA. Most recently, I’ve been teaching corporate social responsibility as an assistant adjunct professor at the New York University Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

I am honored to be a Blue Planet presenter and trainer. I can’t wait to help you find your own true voice and inspire others to share theirs – with confidence and clarity, passion and purpose.

I have been working with Blue Planet since it was first created. I am the least outspoken person but I slowly became a vital part of the operation and development of Blue Planet. People find that my unique and interesting perspective has played an important part in the success of the company.

Before joining Blue Planet, I was finishing higher education studies. I graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) located in Newark, NJ. My major concentration was in Computer Science and that proved to have been very useful in doing everything from Dial Testing technology to establishing our new computers.

Working with technology is where I feel most comfortable. I believe that a team is as strong as its weakest member. I take this concept and apply it to my work ethic. My hard working nature helps me with problem solving, creativity, and troubleshooting. I enjoy traveling to many different locations for Blue Planet. Locations such as Los Angeles, Memphis, and Munich are just a few places that I have gone to for Blue Planet and hope to travel even more in the future.

I’m the wife of an awesome husband (we’ve been married since 1987) and the mother of three wonderful sons (two are teens). I studied business administration and became a self-taught online entrepreneur who has developed dozens of successful websites over the last 14 years.

My passion was first brought on by my family and then extended into the areas of movies, music, art, novels, photos and computer graphics. I find inspiration from talented people who are working on fulfilling their dreams as I am.

I work with many people in the entertainment industry and beyond, including actors, musicians, directors and producers. Most recently I’ve done online publicity for feature films: Sony Picture’s “The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day,” directed by Troy Duffy, Alex Ranarivello’s Knuckle Draggers, and more which you can find at StudioMatrix.com. My experience is with web design, graphics, internet consultation, online media & publicity, social networking, publishing & editing of web content, e-book writing and more.

My websites have been covered and I’ve been interviewed / published in many different media outlets; online websites, radio, newspapers and magazines such as the Wall Street Journal and Revenue Magazine.

Well-crafted prose delights me. Misspelled words reach out and touch me. Wayward apostrophes drive me crazy. When the company needed an editor for some of their publications, I jumped at the chance. My career as homemaker and mom still comes first, but now I have the chance to complete tasks that actually remain that way for more than 24 hours. Life is good.
